What the Cup!? Information at a glance:
Welcome to What the Cup!?, the newest international-style, stand alone event created for handlers who want the competitive and fun atmosphere of European Cups, right here at home. No Qs, no points, no passports, no paperwork, no restrictions. Just a desire to “earn your ticket to finals” and lay it all on the line.
This 2-day competition features Team Challenge and Individual Competition, each with their own Finals
Jump heights will be based off of WAO cut offs, with the option of running in “preferred/select”. Results will be scored in your WAO height category. For more flexibility: A dog may choose to run in a higher jump height, but then will be scored with that higher hight. Dogs may run in any Preferred/Select height regardless of the dog’s measurement, but will be scored with their WAO measured height category.
⭐ TEAM COMPETITION
Teams of 3 dogs, max 2 heights represented.
Each dog runs 1 Agility + 1 Jumping, scored EO-style.
% of the top teams advance to the Finals.
The final will consist of an “EO Style” Relay
🎯 INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION

Top percentage from each round advances to the Final

Prizes
TEAM CHALLENGE PRIZES

* Team Finals Prize Money
A total of $1,020 in prize money will be awarded in the Team Finals.
Prize money will be distributed to the top three teams in Team Finals.
1st Place Team: $510 ($170/handler)
2nd Place Team: $306 ($102/handler)
3rd Place Team: $204 ($68/handler)
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION PRIZES
* The first place dog in each jump height of a preliminary individual round will win a prize!
Individual Finals Prize Money!
A total prize purse of $1,000 will be awarded across all 5 jump heights:
Prize money will be distributed proportionally based on the number of entries in each jump height.
Each height’s share of the prize pool is calculated as:
(Number of dogs in the height ÷ Total number of dogs entered) × $1,000
This ensures that each jump height is rewarded relative to the size and depth of its competition.
The allocated prize money for each jump height will be awarded as follows:
1st Place — 50%
2nd Place — 33%
3rd Place — 17%
Adjustments will be made based on number of entries.
3 or more entries: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd awarded
2 entries: 1st and 2nd awarded
1 entry: 1st place only
In the event that a jump height does not have enough scores to award all placements, any un-awarded prize money will be added to the 1st place payout.
Cash prizes awarded for Individual Finals
Why Should you come?
In the U.S., most of our “big” International Style agility moments happen only when tied to tryouts, or we spend the year quietly collecting Qs at local trials without much pressure or atmosphere. We deserve something more.
What the Cup gives us what Europe already has: a place to truly compete, to run against the best, to feel the energy of a real event, while still laughing with friends, cheering for dogs, and having an unforgettable weekend.
No qualifications required. No politics. Just dogs, athletes, community, and serious runs that actually feel exciting.
If you want a weekend where you can have fun and test yourself, where the U.S. proves that it can be just as cool, electric, and competitive as Europe, this is where you should be.
